PER COUNTRY
JAPAN APPLICATIONS
・Self-study how to introduce yourself in Nihongo (Jikoshoukai/Self-introduction).・You must be physically fit to work as certified by a DOH Accredited Medical Clinic for Land-based OFW as required by the employers.・You must be willing and ready to undergo a trade test to prove your capability in your chosen field (upon requirement of the employer).・Practice speaking in English during the actual interview.・If you pass the interview and are selected by the employer, be ready for enrollment to a Japanese Language School wherein the class duration is 3-4 months. Tuition fees are paid by the employer. Personal expenses such as food, transportation, dormitory, and others while undergoing trainings must be shouldered by the selected applicant as it will not be paid for by the employer.・If you breach the contract (back-out or cancel), you may be liable to pay for any classes or trainings that you have taken.
UNITED KINGDOM APPLICATIONS
・Practice your reading, writing, speaking, and listening in preparation for the IELTS UKVI General Training exam. The fees will be shouldered by the applicant and must pass the exam and get a minimum Training Band Score of 5.0 in all exams.・You must be physically fit to work as certified by a DOH Accredited Medical Clinic for Land-based OFW and have no abnormalities in your IOM Tuberculosis Examination as required by the employers.・If you pass the interview and are selected by the employer, be ready to undergo training. Personal expenses such as food, transportation, dormitory, and others while undergoing trainings must be shouldered by the selected applicant as it will not be paid for by the employer.・Apply for and submit a bank certificate as required by the United Kingdom Immigration. No minimal amount is required.・If you breach the contract (back-out or cancel), you may be liable to pay for any classes or trainings that you have taken.
POLAND APPLICATIONS
・You must be willing and ready to undergo a trade test to prove your capability in your chosen field. (ex. GMAW-FCAW Test for Welders)・You must be physically fit to work as certified by a DOH Accredited Medical Clinic for Land-based OFW as required by the employers.・If you pass the interview and are selected by the employer, be ready to undergo training. Personal expenses such as food, transportation, dormitory, and others while undergoing trainings must be shouldered by the selected applicant as it will not be paid for by the employer.・Apply for and submit a bank certificate as required by the Poland Embassy to prove that you have the financial means to live during the first month of employment prior to receiving your first salary.・If you breach the contract (back-out or cancel), you may be liable to pay for any classes or trainings that you have taken.

DRESS FOR SUCCESS
The Qualifying Interview will serve as preview of what will be conducted during the Employer Interview. It's important to look presentable in both stages.REMINDERS
❶ Wear a white polo shirt, black pants or blue jeans (strictly no ripped or tattered jeans and leggings), and rubber shoes.


❷ Style your hair neatly. For women, tie your hair into a bun and clip your bangs to the side. For men, style your hair neatly and remove facial hair.


❸ Practice how to introduce yourself in Japanese (See ② in Home Page).❹ Speak in English during the interview.

During the Qualifying Interview, you will be asked to introduce yourself in Japanese.

The Jikoshoukai Worksheet below discusses how to introduce yourself in Japanese. It includes a list of vocabulary regarding your age, marital status, hobbies, good and bad qualities, and more.

Always present yourself with a smile. We encourage you to self-study the Japanese Language so you could communicate to the employer better, increasing your chances of being selected.

THE TESTS
During the Qualifying Interview, you will be required to complete several tests.
① Paper Test
The Paper Test is divided into three tests: Mathematics, English, and Concentration. Please bring one (1) black ball pen and two (2) sheets of short bond paper.
② Physical Test
The Physical Test aims to measure your physical fitness level. The type of tests are indicated below and the exercise must be performed for 30 seconds during the Qualifying Interview.
🄰 Side Steps (30 Seconds)Create three (3) lines with a one (1) meter gap between them, following what's shown in the video. You can use paper tape or any tape that is visible on the floor. Avoid using other objects like clothing, hangers, or sticks to prevent accidents.

UNO Trainings & Orientations
You will participate in the following trainings and orientations, tailored specifically for your destination country.Note: TITP workers bound for Japan will attend Japanese Language Training for 3-4 months at a dedicated training center.
① Next Steps Orientation (NSO)
The Next Steps Orientation (NSO) discusses the documentary process, requirements, and estimated duration of each stage. Through this orientation, all selected workers are well-informed regarding the documents, the process, and the Training Program you will undergo prior deployment.
② Cross Culture Orientation
The Cross Culture Orientation discusses the country of employment's manners and customs. Through this orientation, selected workers will be informed of common greetings, correct garbage disposal practices, cultural norms, proper behavior, punctuality, and more. This also includes company-specific details such as accommodation rules and regulations, how to coordinate with their life counselor, how to request for leave due to sickness to the person-in-charge, and more.
③ Legal Orientation
The Legal Orientation discusses the labor standards, taxes, and pension. Through this orientation, the selected worker understands the wage deductions, differences in tax, pension, and insurance schemes of the Philippines and the country of employment. This also includes the discussion on working hours, overtime, leaves, and holidays, and the guidelines and documents to be submitted for the dependent's declaration benefit provided by the country's tax office.
④ Contract & Addendum Briefing
The Contract and Addendum Briefing discusses the contract of the selected worker. Through this Briefing, selected workers fully comprehends each provision in the employment contract and their tasks, duties, and responsibilities. This includes the expectations and regulations set by the Philippine Government for Overseas Filipino Workers, and the grounds for disciplinary action against Overseas Filipino Workers and the corresponding penalties based on the DMW Department Circular No. 1 Part VI Recruitment Violations and Disciplinary Cases Rule III Section 141.
⑤ Work Ethics
The Work Ethics & Values Formation is a two-day training session focusing on how to lead a well-rounded life while working in their country of destination. Through this session, selected workers can adopt a healthy mindset in preparation for their life abroad along. In addition, lessons on financial literacy are conducted in order to ensure the long term success of the workers.
⑥ Encounter
The Encounter is a two-day spiritual retreat that aims to prepare the selected workers' mental and spiritual resilience. Through this retreat, workers have the tools to maintain a relationship and life led by Christian values and to overcome personal challenges that they may encounter.
⑦ PDOS
The Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) is a mandatory seminar by the Overseas Workers Welfare Association (OWWA) which all Overseas Filipino Workers must undergo as required by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). Modules include immigration requirements, destination country profile, DMW standard employment provisions, health and safety, financial literacy, travel procedures and tips, and available government programs and services for OFWs.
⑧ Final Dispatch Orientation
The Dispatch Orientation aims to prepare the workers prior their deployment. Through this orientation, the worker understands their flight schedule, required documents, how to respond to common questions asked by the Immigration Officers, and the regulations regarding items that can and cannot be brought to the country of employment. In addition, the workers understands their documentary obligation prior the flight which includes the submission of medical examination results, dental certificate, and Philippine Government-mandated membership applications.
